Most of us struggle with lifting ourselves up above others. Even if we don't think we are the greatest, we can't stand the thought of being the least. Yet, Jesus teaches us that it is the humble who will be lifted up by God. Serving is the best spiritual practice for ridding our hearts of pride and growing in humility.
