Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and give. Christians must embody this same humility in our lives. God has uniquely designed each of us with good works in mind. To be clear, we are saved for good works, not by good works. Everything we do to serve God’s Kingdom is a response to the grace we’ve received in the gospel.

There is an enemy.

We must not only acknowledge his existence, but know his tactics if we are going to achieve victory. Where is God in the midst of suffering?

Everyone experiences pain and suffering in their lives. We all want to know “why?” The reality is that we may never know the “why” behind our circumstances. In fact, we are asking the wrong question altogether. Instead of asking “why” start asking “where?” When we begin to look for God in our trials, we will find the help and comfort that only comes from His presence.
